The University of Alabama Board of Trustees dealt with the athletic department budget today, and numerous coaches saw their stock rise. Here’s a breakdown of what changes occurred.
Men’s basketball head coach Anthony Grant got a $100,000 raise to $1.9 million and had his contract extended through March 31, 2019. His contract is now just one year shorter than that of Coach Saban’s.

Women’s golf head coach Mic Potter was rewarded for winning the program’s first national championship last season with a $10,000 raise, moving his salary to $145,000.
Jenny Mainz, the head coach of the women’s tennis, received a $15,000 raise to $110,000 per year. Her team made the second round of the NCAA tournament last season.
Women’s soccer coach Todd Bramble also received a $15,000 raise after his team made the NCAA tournament last season. His salary is now $130,000.
Finally, the man over it all, athletics director Mal Moore, had his salary raised to $620,000 after a $31,500 raise. As it currently stands, his contract will still expire on June 30, 2014.
